Hey! I’m Chele. Pronounced Shell-lee or as my friends call me, Shell-lay. At the age of 30-something, this last decade has been fantastic. I met a man over 8 years ago and I’ve been traveling around the world with him ever since. In 2011, our lives were greatly affected after spending months documenting in the remote mountain village of Nangi, Nepal. Throughout the years, we’ve been refining that humanitarian project and ourselves.
The biggest highlights of my short life include: mothering dogs, riding motorcycles, modeling swimwear, rolling my 4Runner, being a certified yoga instructor, running the 2013, 2014 and 2016 New York City Marathon, living in Thailand, getting married in Iceland, running around Spain, Puerto Rico, Croatia, trekking in Nepal, assisting my brother-in-law deliver my sister’s baby at their home in the Rocky Mountains, and getting my first tattoo (which turned into a full sleeve).
This website is a platform for me, and others to share our travel experiences, photography, videography, poetry, and love. “Ideas, like windblown seeds, have a way of crossing boundaries and appearing in unlikely places.” A writer’s motive is mysterious and selfish but the objective is simple: spread the seeds.

One of my biggest passions has become the sharing economy. During the day, I Program/Project Manage for airbnb. Check it out, and let me know if you have any questions. Airbnb is a global community marketplace that connects travelers seeking authentic, high-quality accommodations with hosts who offer unique places to stay. Check out the blog for many of our Airbnb experiences abroad.
