We picked up our lives—a flashing box of dark and repulsive moments, smashing them into the unrelenting ground until they dispersed to dust. Rightfully so, no one but us would get to clean them up. Taking a step forward and looking up, creating a new flashing box that fits comfortably by our side. I don’t remember who I was back then. But that’s what happens when you choose to reinvent yourself, so many times throughout our lives. That’s the point of getting lost, letting the unfamiliar appear. It’s nothing to be fearful of. It’s how the old makes way for the new. A firm believer—every moment creates space for the next. You create space for you.
