I will never rush a sunrise
I can’t keep it inside
It made me feel alive
There were dolphins and butterflies
A hawk and a falcon gliding
Side by side
Mystery fueled our souls
Radiating passion from your eyes
Into mine
Sitting on a foothill
I will never rush a sunrise
I will be patient, I will be kind
The beauty is there to remind me
To no longer withhold trust out of fear
There has always been enough light to see
The world belongs to you and me
I can’t keep it inside
It made me feel alive
I will never rush a sunrise
